Environmental Policy

Finax stands for care and consideration for people.

With this environmental policy, we want to show that we also stand for caring for the environment and that we are working for a long-term sustainable development.

Finax products shall be safe and of a high quality. At the same time we shall minimise our impact on the environment and work towards improving it. We shall, at every step from raw ingredient to consumption, strive to economise on natural resources.

We work to meet the our customers’, consumers’ and the community’s expectations of us with regard to environmental issues.

We shall follow the applicable environmental regulations, legislation and directives related to all of our activities in the company.

Finax focuses on an efficient use of energy as well as reducing the amount of waste and to develop waste sorting procedures.

When it comes to our main raw materials, we shall choose locally grown products to the greatest extent possible.

Our suppliers of goods and services are important to us and are therefore an important part of the environmental effort. We shall therefore place realistic environmental demands upon purchasing.

Through dialogue and training, we want to encourage our colleagues to take part in active environmental efforts.

The environmental effort shall be reported to the board once per year and the environmental policy shall be revised and approved once per year by upper management.
